BS PAS 100:2018 specifiesrequirements for the process of composting, theselection of input materials, the minimum qualityof composted materials and the storage, labellingand traceability of compost products. It specifiesrequirements for a Quality Management System (QMS)for the production of composts to ensure they areconsistently fit for their intended uses. It also requiresa Safety and Quality Control System, including HazardAnalysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) assessment,which the composter takes into account whendeveloping, implementing and reviewing the QMS.
