This standard covers the complete general anddimensional data for metric hex bolts recognized as"American National Standard."

The inclusion of dimensional data in this standardis not intended to imply that all of the sizesin conjunction with the various options describedherein are stock production items. Consumers are requestedto consult with manufacturers concerninglists of stock production hex bolts.

Hex bolts purchased for Government use shallconform to this standard, and additionally to therequirements of Appendix 111.
