Continuation to the report on capabilities of flanges under combined loadings (Project 86-21) which resulted in the publication of API Bullentin 6AF. Included is an indepth analysis into the effect of elevated temperatures on API flanges. The results in this report are analytical and assume a temperature gradient across the flange as stated in this report.
