Full Description
The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) as amended requires the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to use "the best available, peer-reviewed science and supporting studies conducted in accordance with sound and objective practices." The statute does not, however, specifically define peer review. This article discusses how the USEPA has established peer review guidelines and practices applicable for development of regulations under the SDWA. Includes 7 references. Product Details
