Full Description
This standard presents pocedures for inhabited, nonindustrial buildings to assess the quality of piping systems and the options available to return the piping systems to a serviceable condition, or remediation. This standard is a risk-based approach, and its focus is on the options available and the steps taken when determining whether the risk is acceptable or whether a more cautious remediation program must be selected. It includes inspection and monitoring techniques, building and system information, options for remediating building piping systems, mechnical cleaning, and monitoring and controlling the cleaning process.
