Full Description

The most effective method of building a healthy building is to use a preventive approach termed "building commissioning." Even though the project architect has the overall picture of what a building and its systems need to do, traditionally, architects have not been involved in building commissioning. However, it is now time for architects to take a more active leadership role.

This paper presents a summary of the architectâs involvement in commissioning activities during each phase of the building delivery process.
