Contemporary procedures in industrial ventilation lack the precision and predictive capability needed by designers to satisfy Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. The objective of this paper is to describe a computer-aided design procedure, using computer graphics, that enables designers to compute the trajectories of particles and the particle concentration at any point inside a grinding booth.
