The present document is part of the Release 6 "Introduction of the Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) in GERAN" work item and it is linked to the corresponding 3GPP TS 22.146: "Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS); Stage 1" [3] and 3GPP TS 23.246: "Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS); Architecture and functional description" [5].The purpose of the present document is to provide a stage 2 description of the changes required in existing specifications for the "Introduction of the Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) in GERAN" feature for Release 6.
